Account Manager
Our goal is to supply the best quality and value to our clients. We accomplish this by dedicating an Account Manager to each project. The Account Manager communicates directly with the client to create the optimum strategy in response to the client's multilingual needs. The Account Manager continues with the project until completion, assuring quality and consistency throughout the process.
Quality Control
To maintain quality control and to maximize the proficiency of our project management, we use Translation-Industry specific tools such as Translation Memory* and Workflow Management software. Origin takes an active role in keeping abreast of new technologies so that we will always be able to offer our clients the very best service on the market.
Product Delivery
Depending upon the nature of the translation project and the desire of the client, delivery can take several forms. Often simple text documents are delivered electronically over the Internet, even when they contain graphics. Audio and video voice-over projects can also be delivered electronically by using MP3 and WAV technologies. We can also deliver most jobs digitally on diskette, Zip, CD-ROM, DV, VHS, etc. by courier. Localization projects, in this case referring to translation of Web Sites, are normally delivered via the Internet and by CD-ROM. Hardcopies are available where relevant.

- What We Need to Know
Depending on the nature and scope of the project, much information must be derived from the client before a translation can begin. For example, is the audience Brazilian or European Portuguese? What is the end use of the material? Do previous translations exist? What are the software, formatting, certification requirements?
Web Site Localization
If the project is web site localization, usability audits must be executed on the existing company web site before new versions are created in foreign languages. If we are starting from scratch, we begin with the end use in mind. Based on our experience, we know what questions to ask in order to collect all the information necessary to complete the most consistent, accurate, and professional translation to best represent your company.
